Scent without a flame

A halogen head warms the surface of a jar candle from above, releasing its scent without ever lighting a wick, so there is no flame, no smoke and no burning wick to trim. The head slides up and down the post to suit candles of different heights. A built-in timer switches it off on its own, and the dimmer sets both the warmth and the glow.
