Coloured Glass Flush Ceiling Light sets a thick disc of tinted glass around a round bulb, 25cm across and 13cm deep.

A disc of coloured glass

A deep ring of tinted glass, with a hole at its centre for the lamp holder, sits just below a small black iron base fixed to the ceiling. Lit by a round globe bulb, the glass glows in its own colour around a bright centre. Being blown glass, small bubbles or marks in the glass are normal.

Often not. Plug-in and rechargeable pieces need no wiring at all; many hardwired lights can be fitted by a confident DIYer in about 15 minutes. Every product page has an Installation & downloads tab with step-by-step instructions and a printable PDF guide. If you are not comfortable with wiring, or the light is going in a bathroom or kitchen, we recommend a registered electrician.
