An irregular woven nest

Rather than a smooth weave, the strands here cross at irregular angles to form an open nest, so the shade reads as handmade rather than manufactured. The loose structure lets more light through than a tight weave and casts a lively, broken pattern. At 22cm across it is the most decorative of the woven shades in this range.
