French Chandelier is a classic 5 light candle chandelier in a hand-finished antique white, its curved arms and turned centre column bringing timeless French country charm to a dining room.

Antique charm, candle-lit warmth

Five gracefully curved arms sweep out from a turned centre column finished in a softly distressed antique white, each carrying an E14 candle socket on its own bobeche. Chain-hung with a matching canopy, it reads as a countryside heirloom whether dressed with clear filament bulbs for sparkle or flame-shaped bulbs for a softer, candle-like glow.

You will need

Drill, screwdriver, spirit level, voltage tester

Not confident with wiring? Use a registered electrician.

Installation

Switch off at the fuse box and check the circuit is dead.
Fix the bracket to the ceiling, into a joist or a fixing rated for the weight.
Set the drop: feed the cable or chain through the canopy and lock it (about 75 cm above the table).
Connect brown to L, blue to N, green/yellow to earth. Tug each wire to check.
Lift the canopy over the bracket and secure it.
Fit the shade and bulb, switch on.

Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth once cool. No solvents.
