Silk Pendant Light has a gathered pumpkin-shaped silk shade on a corded drop, available in 40cm and 50cm.

A retro pumpkin in silk

The silk is gathered into deep vertical segments that give the shade its flattened pumpkin form, finished with a wooden bead on the cord above. Unlike the rest of the silk range this one offers three colour temperatures rather than a single warm white, so you can set it warm for a bedroom or neutral over a table.

You will need

Drill, screwdriver, spirit level, voltage tester

Not confident with wiring? Use a registered electrician.

Installation

Switch off at the fuse box and check the circuit is dead.
Fix the bracket to the ceiling.
Set the drop: feed the cable or chain through the canopy and lock it (about 75 cm above the table).
Connect brown to L, blue to N, green/yellow to earth. Tug each wire to check.
Lift the canopy over the bracket and secure it.
Fit the shade and bulb, switch on.

Everyday use

Switch off and on within 3 seconds to change warm / neutral / cool.

Care

Dust the shade with a soft brush. Keep dry and away from flames.
