Wabi-Sabi Silk Pendant Light wraps bands of white silk around an iron frame into a soft globe, from 30cm to 60cm across.

Ribbons of silk, wound round

Overlapping bands of silk are wound across an iron frame, each one catching the light at a slightly different angle, so the globe glows in layers rather than as one flat surface. The fine weave of the fabric stays visible when lit. A black ceiling canopy holds it on a 150cm adjustable cord.

Details

  • Bands of silk wrapped over an iron frame
  • Four diameters: 30cm, 40cm, 50cm or 60cm
  • E27 bulb included: warm, neutral or white light
  • Black ceiling canopy, 150cm adjustable cord
  • Lights roughly 5 to 15m², depending on the size

Where to place it

Suits a dining table, a kitchen island, a living room or a bedroom, with the larger sizes holding a high ceiling or a stairwell. It sits naturally in wabi-sabi, Japandi and contemporary interiors.

Light in Layers

Each band of silk overlaps the next at its own angle, so the globe glows in soft layers. It suits dining tables, kitchen islands and living rooms.

Four Sizes, One Shape

The same wrapped globe comes in 30cm, 40cm, 50cm and 60cm, on a 150cm adjustable cord. Picture the 60cm over a long table, or two 30cm globes at different heights.

If you are not comfortable with wiring, or the light is going in a bathroom or kitchen, we recommend a registered electrician.
